JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a former Palestinian prisoner during a raid in the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin, on Wednesday.

The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces raided the Faqqua village in eastern Jenin.

PPS added that Israeli soldiers detained a former prisoner during the raid, whose identity remained unknown, after raiding and searching his family home in the village.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces also carried out a similar raid in the Silat al-Harithiya village, northwest of Jenin, raiding and searching several houses.

Israeli forces also interrogated residents of raided homes.
