One Palestinian killed in Gaza explosion

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- One Palestinian was killed, on Thursday morning, in an accidental explosion that occurred at a resistance site in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qidra, confirmed that Daoud Rizq Eid Juneid, 37, died in an explosion in northern Gaza.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, confirmed the incident saying that Juneid was a member of their fighters.

Al-Qassam pointed out that the explosion occurred at a site that was targeted by Israeli airstrikes recently.
