Israeli forces detain 6 Palestinians across West Bank

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least six Palestinians, during predawn raids on Thursday, across the occupied West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained one Palestinian in the southern West Bank district of Hebron; he was identified as Ayoub Nafed Abed al-Basit.

In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Ahmad Moussa Ramadan.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, three Palestinian were detained by Israeli forces; PPS identified them as Asaad Ziyad Shadid, 28, Muaman Jihad Kharouf, 23, along with his brother Malek, 20.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, one Palestinian was detained and identified by PPS as Muhammad Suleiman al-Saadi.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,640 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
