Ofer court cancels all trials for coming week

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Israeli military court of Ofer cancelled, on Wednesday, all trials to be held during the coming week, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported.

PPS said, in a statement, that all trials except for court sessions extending the detention of prisoners were scheduled for this coming week were cancelled.

The statement added that the decision comes due to maintenance works at the court's hall.

PPS called upon families of Palestinian prisoners in Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah not to head to the Ofer court for trials this week.
