Israeli forces detain 4 Palestinians in West Bank

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least four Palestinians across the occupied West Bank during predawn raids on Thursday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Mazen Issa Heribat, Erfat Abu Hussein along with his son Samir Abu Hussein.

In the northern West Bank district of Tubas, Israeli forces detained one Palestinian and identified him as Qais Zyad Suwafta, 20.

Sources added that Israeli forces carried out raids, searched homes, and seized money.

Israeli search and detention raids are a nightly occurrence in Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,580 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
