
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained five Palestinians, including a minor, on Sunday, from various areas in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. They were identified as Daoud Mahmoud al-Khatib, 23, Malik Imad Salama, 22, and Mahmoud Abiyat.
PPS confirmed that Israeli forces also raided their houses before detaining them.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians. PPS identified them as Tareq Awda and Amir Abu Sbeih, 17.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,580 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, of whom 250 are child prisoners and 35 are under the age of 16.
