Israeli settlers call for Abbas' assassination

Dec. 14, 2018 10:52 A.M. (Updated: Dec. 21, 2018 5:09 P.M.)
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers protested on a road between Ramallah City and Nablus City, on Thursday, demanding the Israeli army and government to "harshly respond" to Palestinians.

According to local sources, Israeli settlers held up photos and posters an image of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ face in a set of crosshairs and called for his assassination.

Incitement against Abbas has increased over the past week, with various extremist Israeli settler groups hanging posters of Abbas, labeling him as a “supporter of terrorists” and repeatedly calling for his assassination.
