Israeli forces detain Palestinian, deliver summon to another in Hebron

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained one Palestinians and delivered another a notice to meet with the Israeli intelligence in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, on predawn Saturday.

Locals confirmed that Israeli forces raided Hebron City, detained one Palestinian after raiding and searching his home, identifying him as Luay Muhammad Ramadan Ghaith.

Gaith was transferred to an unknown location.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces delivered a notice to a Palestinian identified as Muhammad Jamil Ayed Masalameh, 26, from Beit Awwa to meet with the Israeli intelligence.

Israeli forces also raided several neighborhoods in Hebron City and set up military checkpoints at the entrances of Sair and Halhul villages in northern Hebron, and al-Dahriya, al-Samou villages and al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern Hebron.

Israeli soldiers searched Palestinian vehicles and the identity cards of passengers, caused traffic jam.
