HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces raided and searched Palestinian homes in the al-Tuwani and al-Mufqara village in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, predawn Wednesday.

Coordinator of a local popular committee, Fouad al-Umour, said that Israeli forces raided homes of Palestinians in the al-Tuwani and al-Mufqara villages in southern Hebron.

Al-Umour added that Israeli soldiers held head of the al-Tuwani village council and youths from the local popular committee.

Israeli soldiers reportedly interrogated locals about an Israeli soldier’s “lost” weapon.

Israeli raids into Palestinian towns and villages are near daily occurrence in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
