Jan. 10, 2019 3:07 P.M. (Updated: Jan. 11, 2019 4:45 P.M.)
LONDON (Ma'an) -- Restrictions on carrying large phones, laptops, and tablets in the cabin on flights from Turkey and another five Arab countries were lifted by the United Kingdom.

The UK Department for Transport announced on Wednesday that restrictions on large electronic devices were lifted on all UK bound flights from the airports of Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor, and Marsa Alam in Egypt, Amman in Jordan, Beirut in Lebanon, Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Tunis-Carthage International in Tunisia, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman, Istanbul Ataturk, Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, and Izmir in Turkey.

It is noteworthy that the cabin ban on laptops and tablets were effective since last March due to “security concerns.”
