GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Thousands of Palestinians marched, on Monday afternoon, in the funerals of two Palestinians who succumbed to wounds they had sustained during protests alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

In the Jabaliya town of the northern Gaza Strip, mourners carried the body of 14-year-old Abed al-Raouf Salha, who succumbed on Monday morning to wounds he sustained during Friday protests.

Mourners repeated slogans calling for revenge.

Meanwhile in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian crowds marched in the funeral of Anwar Qudeih, 33, who succumbed late Sunday to wounds he had sustained weeks earlier during protests.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 257 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of “The Great March of Return” protests on March 30th, 2018, including 45 minors.
