Israeli forces detain Palestinian after crossing Gaza border fence

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian who reportedly crossed the Israeli border fence between southern Israel and the northern besieged Gaza Strip, on Friday.

Israeli news outlets reported that the Palestinian was not armed.

The Palestinian was immediately taken in for interrogation.

Israeli forces regularly detain Palestinians attempting to cross into Israel from the besieged Gaza Strip, which has suffered under a decade-long military blockade by Israel.
