GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Israeli cabinet has decided, late Wednesday, to allow the third installment of Qatari funds to enter the besieged Gaza Strip.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had halted the transfer of the funds following escalation in the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed, four others were injured and an Israeli soldier was lightly wounded.

Hebrew-language news sites reported that the funds would be transferred in the 24 hours following the decision.
