GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian child was injured by a tear-gas bomb fired by Israeli forces, east of the al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central besieged Gaza Strip, on Saturday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces fired live bullets and tear-gas bombs towards a group of Palestinian children, who ignited several tires on fire, east of al-Bureij, in central Gaza.

Sources said that one of the Palestinian children, whose identity remained unknown, was hit with a tear-gas bomb, resulting in a foot injury.

The child was transferred to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
In addition, Israeli warplanes were seen constantly flying overhead across Gaza.
