Palestinian detained after attempting to smuggle phones for prisoners

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian, on Tuesday, who reportedly attempted to smuggle electronics for Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli Meggido prison.

Hebrew-language news outlets reported that the Palestinian is a member of the Islamic Jihad and is a resident of the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin.

Reports added that the man attempted to smuggle 3 mobile phones and 3 sim cards.
