Israeli forces injure, detain Palestinian near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian youth was shot and injured by Israeli forces for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli watchtower, on late Thursday, near al-Khader village, in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem.

According to local sources, Israeli forces opened fire at the Palestinian and injured him in the leg.

Sources added that the Palestinian was immediately detained and transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem City.

His medical condition remained unknown.
