BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces returned the bodies of two slain Palestinians from the Jerusalem and Hebron districts in the occupied West Bank, late Friday.

The Israeli army returned the body of Muammar Arif al-Atrash, 42, from the southern West Bank city of Hebron, who was shot and killed by Israeli forces on October 22nd, 2018 in the Old City of Hebron, after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack against Israeli soldiers.

Al-Atrash's body has been withheld by Israel since the incident.

The family of al-Atrash laid his body to rest, on Saturday, in the al-Shuhada cemetery of Wadi al-Hiryeh.
