
RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least six Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, during predawn raids on Thursday.
Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the sout
hern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Tareq al-Aqbali, Muhammad Abu Salem, and Ahmad Abu Salam.In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Adham Kamal al-Awadi.
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, PPS confirmed that two Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Muhammad Adnan Tawfiq Abed and Salam Mahmoud Khalil Mahamid.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 215 minors, 43 of whom under 16 years old.
