BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained two Palestinians, late Thursday, who crossed the Israeli border fence in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

Hebrew-language news sites reported that two Palestinians crossed the Israeli fence at the northern borders of the Gaza Strip.

The detainees were transferred for interrogation.

Israeli forces regularly detain Palestinians attempting to cross into Israel from the besieged Gaza Strip, which has suffered under a nearly 12-year-long military blockade by Israel.
