Palestinian-Finnish actor chosen for leading role in Hollywood movie

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian-Finnish actor and producer, Rami Jaber, was chosen to play a leading role in a new Hollywood-production movie entitled “The Misfits,” in which well-known actors such as Pierce Brosnan will also be starring in the movie.

K. JAM Media, an independent film and television production company headquartered in Los Angeles, California, confirmed, on Monday, that Jaber would be the leading role in the movie.

“Misfits” is directed by Finnish director, Renny Harlin, whose most notable works in direction include, “A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, The Long Kiss Goodnight and Deep Blue Sea.”

The movie is set to be filmed between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Los Angeles.

Jaber said that the movie is “different from his other works” especially that it includes big Hollywood names, adding that this proves that choosing him to act in previous films was right, and the reason why he got the eyes of big producers in Hollywood.
