Israeli forces detain 4 Palestinians during West Bank raids

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least four Palestinians during search and detention raids carried out across the occupied West Bank, on predawn Saturday.

In the southern West Bank district of Hebron, locals reported that Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from the al-Arroub refugee camp in northern Hebron; the detainees were identified as Abed al-Fattah Khalid Abu Sal, 21, and Muhammad Salameh al-Jundi, 22.

Meanwhile in the central West Bank, Israeli forces detained Ayham Abed al-Latif and Muhammad Khaldun al-Barghouthi from the Beit Rima town in western Ramallah and al-Bireh.

Israeli forces also raided the family home of Nayif Ishtayeh and his son Haroun , and another house belonging to Majdi Musleh al-Dik in the Kafr Nimeh village in western Ramallah and al-Bireh.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 215 minors, 43 of whom under 16 years old.
