NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian, on Sunday, near the Burqa village, in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus, according to locals sources.

Locals told Ma'an that Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Homish pulled up next to a group of Palestinian greengrocers in front of the settlement and attacked one of them with wooden sticks.

Sources pointed out that the Israeli settlers wore masks over their faces and drove a Citroen vehicle.

Following the attack, the settlers quickly drove off back into the Homish settlement.

The Palestinian greengrocer's identity and medical condition remained unknown.

Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that the kidnapping is part of the increased Israeli settler violence towards Palestinians in the area.
