Israeli forces detain 5 Palestinians in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained five Palestinians during predawn raids across the occupied West Bank, on Sunday.

According to Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. They were identified as Abdullah Ahmad Mousa, Muhammad Asaad Sbeih, and Muhi al-Din al-Amour.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Raja Ahmad Abu Safa.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, PPS said another Palestinian was detained. He was identified as Muhammad Hassan Mousa.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
