Israeli forces detain 10 Palestinians in West Bank

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 10 Palestinians, including former prisoners, on predawn Monday.

According to Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in the central West Bank district of Ramallah. They were identified as Abed al-Rahman Ahmad Shihadeh, Muhammad Raed Anqawi, Muhammad Jibril Abu Qabita, and Zahir Hatem Huwayeh.

In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, three Palestinians were detained. PPS identified two of them as former prisoners, Muntaser Mustafa al-Shanar, 27, and Abed al-Kareem Anwar Muna, 28; the third detainee was identified as Muhammad al-Shtawi.

In the northern West Bank district of Salfit, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Suleiman Nasser Abdullah.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, another two Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Muhammad Jamal Jumaa, 27, and Mahmoud Adnan Abdullah.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,440 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
