Funeral processions for slain Palestinian commence in Gaza

March 12, 2019 2:04 P.M. (Updated: March 12, 2019 5:03 P.M.)
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Thousands of Palestinians marched in the funeral of a slain Palestinian youth in Deir al-Balah City in the central besieged Gaza Strip, on Tuesday.

Moussa Muhammad Abed al-Karim Moussa, 23, had succumbed on Monday to wounds he had sustained in February, east of al-Breij refugee camp.

The funeral set off from a local mosque in Deir al-Balah as mourners repeated slogans condemning Israeli crimes.

Moussa’s brother said that the Palestinian Ministry of Health had issued him a paper to transfer him abroad for treatment; however, Israel banned him from travelling.
