GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Israeli artillery shelled multiple locations across the besieged Gaza Strip, targeting Hamas movement sites and causing material damages to several of them, on predawn Sunday.

A Ma’an reporter said that at least three Hamas sites were shelled, including east of Gaza City, in Deir al-Balah, and another east of al-Breij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

The shelling resulted in material damages of various levels to the sites targeted, however, no injuries were reported.

Hebrew-language news outlets reported that the Israeli army claimed that the shelling were in response to five rockets from Gaza which landed in open fields in southern Israel.
