Israeli forces raid Sabastiya, threaten residents

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Heavily armed Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village, in the northern occupied West Bank district of Nablus, and warned Palestinian residents not to attempt to obstruct Jewish celebrations performed by Israeli settlers in the area, on Thursday.

Sabastiya's Mayor, Muhammad Azem, told Ma'an that dozens of Israeli forces raided the village for four hours and broke into several homes.

Azem added that Israeli forces warned the residents of not to attempt to obstruct Jewish celebrations performed by Israeli settlers in Sabastiya on April 23rd.
