Israeli forces detain 14 Palestinians across West Bank

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 14 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank during predawn raids, on Tuesday.

Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Muhammad Nasser Mahfouth, Amar Hanihan, Ahmad Zakout, and Muhammad Jamal Abu Sal.

In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, another five Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Shakib Abed Hassan Taqatqa, 28, Ihab Ahmad Thuwabta, 26, Muhammad Marzouq Salah, Mahmoud Marzouq Salah, and Muhammad Suleiman Salah.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, another four were detained. They were identified as Naji Abu Shukhaydam and his son Amir, Hamdi Muhammad Qandah, and Anwar Salem.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Muhammad Najib Jaradat.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 205 minors, 32 of whom under 16 years old.
